Organizational Structure

At all the stages of the institute’s development, the solidary staff of qualified specialists has worked here. It made possible for the company to take one of the leading positions in the country energy sector.

Qualified specialists, having the experience of design of NPPs and TPPs and required practice, work in production departments, 98.7% of specialists have higher special education. Nowadays, the institute’s staff contains more than 350 employees.

The organizational structure of the institute contains the following design departments:

  • Thermal Mechanical Department (TMD)

    Creation of design documents for thermal mechanical part at all the design stages for reactor buildings, turbine buildings, special and service buildings and facilities at TPPs and NPPs;

  • Architectural and Construction Department (ACD)

    Creation of design documents for architectural and construction part of buildings and structures of TPPs and NPPs;

  • Electrical Department (ED)

    Creation of design documents for electrical part of a project, communication and fire alarm systems for facilities of TPPs and NPPs;

  • Control and Instruments Department (CID)

    Creation of design documents for distribution control systems at TPPs and NPPs;

  • Sanitary Engineering Department (SED)

    Creation of design documents for water lines and sewage, heating, ventilation and air conditioning of premises of buildings and structures of TPPs and NPPs;

  • Construction Arrangement Department (CAD)

    Creation of design documents for construction arrangement and creation of estimates, key plans.

The institute has an archive of technical documentation and a technical library with over 1.9 million items.

Quality Control System

The management board of OJSC KhI “Energoproekt” considers the quality control when designing scientific and technical products, relevant to the Customer’s demands and requests, as the main condition of the institute’s successful activity, allowing gaining the Customer’s confidence and being called-for at the market of design services. The main purpose in the quality field is to ensure the safety of designed NPPs and TPPs.

Acting in the institute since 2003, the quality management system is certified by an international certification body of "Bureau Veritas Certification" and has an international quality certificate for conformance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

As per the conditions of certificate issue, supervisory audits are held in the institute every year, and recertification audits – once in three years.

Modern technologies

At the moment, the most modern software is used in the Institute and it allows achieving the highest quality of design. At the time of the designing stage, the general 3-D model is carried out for all designing complex of buildings and constructions with an account of actual dimensions of equipment, communications and civil structures to avoid desugn faults in the future and to allow issuing a qualitative highly detailed working documents. It became possible due to implementation of PDMS complex design system.
